However, from the moment he falls downstairs in his office and knocks his head loosing consciousness for few minutes, he has an irrational urge to write a book - although he does not know about what. He takes a break from his busy life to spend some time in complete isolation in a cottage in a Scottish island, so he can deal with his unstoppable urge and write the mysterious book once and for all. The magic of the Highlands begins to seduce him, but soon he finds himself confronted with a world of animal ghosts that put him on trial for what he has done to them and drive him close to insanity. Fighting for his innocence in the Hell he is now in, things turn out not to be what they seem.
