The attacker is the very person Arbin had been hiding from for the last eight years. A person once considered a close friend, but who is now someone that has promised to kill him. Arbin's history with the attacker is discovered by a special unit of Fade Hunters and he is forced to help them to protect the members of the Governing Council from further attacks. Now Arbin must find a way to deal with this threat from his past while keeping his own deadly talents a secret. The discovery of which would mean his death.
