What interests us in this 21st century by doing this work, is to lift the veil on the history of the Agoodjié, commonly called "Amazons," and to encour-age female leadership in the different fields of activi-ties in the world. Nevertheless, it has marked history through a rich liv-ing heritage, through its policy of good governance and reforms in the kingdom of Danxomè, the current historic capital of the Republic of Benin.
