My grandchildren, Astrid and Ethan, often asked me to tell them a story. Astrid and Ethan shared their ideas as to what each story should be about. Astrid has always been involved in looking after chickens and has increasingly become interested in different breeds of chickens. She had entered one of her favorite chickens, Snowflake, in a local fair and won the Best of Show. It all began on our hobby farm before she was six years old.
