The study was based on a problem situation that is occurring in certain private educational institutions with the implementation of Computer Science as a subject, included in the diversified part of the high school curriculum. The question is whether this scenario could constitute a possibility for interdisciplinary integration, from the perspective of the High School Curriculum Parameters (PCNEM). The analysis was carried out in two stages: first, the quantitative data from the preliminary questionnaire was tabulated, followed by a content analysis of the answers to the open questions in the questionnaire and the interviews, taking into account the convergence of the recurring themes presented, namely: the world of work, social inclusion and exclusion, research and interdisciplinarity.
