Carlos Richardson is a designer, illustrator, entrepreneur, and adventurer from the Midwest. A firm believer in starting every design with a pen, he began writing children's books as a creative way to share his passion for storytelling and illustration.Raised on a Wisconsin farm and later educated in the deserts of Arizona, Carlos possesses a diverse background that ranges from designing baby products and Alaska commercial fishing, to volunteer missionary work and turning wrenches on an engine.He finds joy in running, the outdoors, anything with wheels, animals, simplicity, and connecting with people in meaningful ways.Each of his books has a unique origin story-a story in itself. But that's for another time.
