Dealing with all of the unknowns, along with new rules to keep newborns safe and families protected, was difficult, to say the least. Parents had to make dramatic adjustments to be safe and to deal with the ever-changing world around them. Regardless, all wanted to create and keep special memories. Each new family had to find special ways to share precious and unique moments involving their little treasures. From socially distant visits outdoors or through windows, to meeting grandparents on computers or experiencing important life events on Zoom, each new step brought new challenges. While the book touches upon difficulties, it ultimately aims to focus on the light at the end of the tunnel - including all of the wonderful moments parents can look forward to with their little bundles of joy.
