It also becomes clear that Attraction Abacus owner, Brian, is not the greatest businessperson. To help the fledgling business survive, Evelyn attends fake dates to boost female numbers on the Abacus books. Luke collects the feedback from these dates, and in these sessions, they realise that their views are quite different. However, their similarities become unexpectedly clearer during the company's grand opening fancy dress party, when they try to kiss after a few too many drinks. Evelyn must now face her own insecurities, as well as Luke's formidable girlfriend, if they are going to be together. She must also decide whether to follow her long-held dream of writing a novel in India or to help the Attraction Abacus to thrive.
