Ashley Barnes, MS, is a poet, author, energist, coach, and Reiki Master/Teacher. She facilitates transformational experiences for soul-centered women who are waking up to their inner truth and feel guided to be of holistic service to the world. Most of these experiences come in the form of words; as a writer, her true love and gift is the written word. She also leads women's circles, workshops, and private sessions. Ashley rediscovered her passion for writing nearly 15 years after losing her mother to a long battle with cancer, using poetry as an outlet for healing, exploration, and discovering her own deeper connection to her inner guidance. While The Angel Inside is her first printed work, Ashley also publishes articles and poems for various online magazines and blogs, such as Elephant Journal, The Wellness Universe, and Sivana East. She continues to write and regularly post poems, as well as the Daily Bliss, on her own blog. In addition to writing, Ashley enjoys her 10+ year career in leadership and organizational development, where she gets to support individuals and organizations to grow holistically while also funding her creative work. She's happily married with four children, a granddaughter, and too many pets to list. She lives in "Kentuckiana" USA; however, her heart is always in the magical sand and glorious green water of Siesta Key Beach.
