In this study, such as the following topics; the religious beliefs of decision-makers, the use of religion as a source of legitimacy in the foreign policy, the transnational problem of transcending national borders, the influence of holy places in international relations and the effect of religion in the establishment of international alliances were discussed and it will be tried to explain that the religion is an important key element in shaping international relations or not.
