For the past three years, I have been on a journey that has changed my life in the most powerful way. I have experienced all the medical challenges that come and go with cancer diagnoses and the little day-to-day challenges with life. I have been able to stand and to move through this journey with the guidance of family and friends and the mercy of God in my life. This work has enabled me to be strengthened by the challenges and faith that I have been afforded to have and witness. For those people who have faced this challenge in their lives and have the courage to fight, I wish you all God's love and care. For those people who are new to a cancer challenge, I pray that this book will be an enlightenment to you and help you to face whatever comes to you on your journey. This book is my story, and it is one of my many stories. My desire is that it will comfort the reader to know that God is still in control.

Autor

My name is Michael D. Hughes I am a former Army Officer. For the past 30 years I have served soldiers and family members on administrative functions, conducted training, counseling soldiers on professional development and problem solving. As the Installation Sports Director my experience in supervision, administration, business management, sports and athletic programming has provided me with a wealth of experience. What I would like for those readers in this work to get is interaction with people and their views are important to the human condition. Their spiritual experiences with God's journey and certain issues and problems is important related to and about spiritual issues. I think because we are all in community and involved with each other on a daily bases, it is important to take all views to come to conclusion. Having committed myself to soldiers and family members over the years has given me a different perspective of how to deal with certain issues. I am always open to learn new perspectives of how to solve problems and do it by God's way. To be able to lead and give of myself in a spiritual way is the message I am trying to convey. The cancer journey I have been on the past three years has given me the opportunity to be a positive light to those who are fighting the same challenge. This book is a continuation of that journey and the challenges that I faced. I am so thankful. God bless the readers.
