Together they traipsed through primeval rain forest, forded raging rivers, plunged across a fetid swamp, and climbed over a tall mountain range, meeting strange and atavistic creatures along the way. Their goal was Teomotl: one of the last bastions against the murdering, pillaging conquistadors. Their purpose was to organize a resistance force to fight the would-be conquerors before they exterminated the population in their ruthless quest for treasure. But time was running out.
