In this book, we devoted our time to studying the impact of the implementation of territorial decentralization on the development of decentralized territorial entities in the Democratic Republic of Congo. We took the sector of BOLOMBA, Territoire de BOLOMBA in the Province of Equateur, one of the decentralized territorial entities of the Democratic Republic of Congo, as a sample. We are aware that economic situations differ from province to province, but the ills that characterize the effective implementation of territorial decentralization are almost the same regardless of the province in which the ETD is located. This study shows that territorial decentralization is a very good opportunity that could enable the development of Decentralized Territorial Entities in the Democratic Republic of Congo in general, and that of BOLOMBA in particular; but its 2 key principles, namely the principle of autonomy and the principle of free administration, must be respected, so that it can be alever that can help the country face a certain number of challenges.
