This study will focus on prioritising telehealth applications that are sufficiently developed in WA for large-scale implementation in the health care facilities of rural and remote regions of the state. The study aims to incorporate a range of criterion in the prioritisation process that includes, but is not limited to, cost analysis. In particular, this study aims to incorporate the views of the state s health care staff into the prioritisation process, as this group are aware of local telehealth issues. Overall, this study represents a fundamental, but preliminary, stage in the telehealth planning and implementation process.
