After the treatment, the difference between the performances of the two groups was examined.The data obtained from the results of the two groups, the post - treatment questionnaire and classroom observation revealed that literary texts - based grammar teaching had a profound effect in helping students learn and master the target grammar point being highly interested and motivated. Consequently, this study indicates teachers and other concerned bodies on how to ensure that teaching grammar through literary texts is maximized.
