While the country registered more than 23.000 crimes driven by right-wing extremist mindsets in 2020, Norway is still suffering from the trauma of the terror attacks on the 22nd of june 2011. While extremism from the far right is becoming a topic that is now more discussed, one group in society is often forgotten about: Students. This paper covers the potential of students in Norway and Germany to fall for far right world views. Furthermore the actions taken by both governments, responsible ministries and other actors, to prevent radicalization among students in school, are evaluated and compared. Erst kürzlich beschrieb der deutsche Bundesinnenminister den Rechtsextremismus als größte Gefahr für die deutsche Sicherheit. Allein in Deutschland gab es im Jahr 2020 über 23.000 Straftaten aus dem rechtsextremen Milieu. Diese, teils terroristischen, Angriffe gegen die Werte unserer Gesellschaft haben in den letzten Jahren zugenommen. Die norwegischen Gesellschaft leidet währenddessen nach wie vor unter den Traumata der Terroranschläge von Anders Breiviks am 22. Juni 2011. Bei der Diskussion des Themas Rechtsextremismus wird allerdings häufig eine Gruppe vergessen, die nicht minder mit dem Thema konfrontiert ist: Schülerinnen und Schüler. Diese Arbeit vergleicht das Gefährdungspotenzial von Rechtsextremismus für Schüler:innen in Deutschland und Norwegen und geht darüber hinaus darauf ein, was von den jeweiligen Regierungen und Ministerien unternommen wird, um der Radikalisierung der Kinder und Jugendlichen vorzubeugen.
