The dissertation thesis aims to describe PE teachers' requirements comprehensively. In its theoretical part, the thesis summarizes and analyzes research on PE teachers' personality. The scoping review provides basis for the design of the subsequent empirical part, which analyzes PE teachers' general as well as vocational-specific personal characteristics. The thesis is embedded within the research project SuM PLuS (Sportunterricht und Motivation: Personbezogene Faktoren von Lehrer_innen und Schüler_innen als Determinanten der Schülermotivation / Physical Education and Motivation: Teachers' and Students' Person-Related Factors as Determinants of Student Motivation).This book was written in EnglishDeutsche Übersetzung der Zusammenfassung:Die Dissertation zielt darauf ab, die personalen Voraussetzungen von Sportlehrenden zu beschreiben. Ein Scoping Review zur Sportlehrendenpersönlichkeit bietet Forschungsübersicht und Grundlage für die anschließende empirische Studie, die die Ausprägung allgemeiner und berufsspezifischer Charakteristika von Sportlehrenden analysiert. Als Nebenziel werden in vergleichbarer Weise (Scoping Review + empirische Studie) die Charakteristika von Schüler_innen im Sportunterricht untersucht. Die Ergebnisse werden in Hinblick auf ihren Beitrag zum Forschungsgebiet sowie ihre Umsetzung in der Unterrichtspraxis, in der Sportlehrendenaus- und -weiterbildung diskutiert. Die Dissertation ist Teil der SuM PLuS Studie (Sportunterricht und Motivation: Personbezogene Faktoren von Lehrer_innen und Schüler_innen als Determinanten der Schülermotivation).
