Response to Intervention is a system widely used by education professionals. ESL teachers' roles in this system is explored in this capstone through focus groups and questionnaires. Classroom, special education and support staff were included in this ethnographic research on the ESL teachers' role. The teacher perceptions are captured to help drive decisions on how to use a language expert to make accurate decisions for student achievement.
