The success of the initiative is based on unprecedented collaboration between leading institutions in both nations. In Qatar, the initiative brought together various ministries as well as Qatar Museums, the National Museums Authority; the Qatar National Library, the country`s leading repository of knowledge; the Doha Film Institute, the region`s leading film organization; and the Katara Cultural Village Foundation, Qatar`s largest cultural project. Other Qatari partners included the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Heritage, the Qatar Football Association and the Qatar Foundation.
