The Cocoon for me represents a time when I began to heal, but merely was just surviving, making sure the darkness did not overtake me again. It was a time of quiet hiding and feeling not truly alive or living in purpose. However, I was in transformation towards becoming better, even when I did not fully realize it. The Butterfly represents my life now, where I have accepted myself and have begun a journey towards wellness and chasing wild opportunity as my best self. Learning and growing each day despite the ups and downs life brings about. I also found the support network I needed and have built strong connections that have kept me going. I wrote this book to express the importance of mental health, relationships, and finding purpose, things that have all impacted me the most. This book is a piece of my heart that I hope speaks to the hearts of others.
