Moreover, binary oxides of TiO2-Bi2O3, ZnOBi2O3 and ZrO2-Bi2O3 were prepared by solid state method. In addition, pure and crystalline Bismuth oxychloride (BiOCl) nanocomposite was also synthesized with simple sol-gel method. The structure, morphology and bands of samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) respectively. After characterizations, a tetragonal, monoclinic, anatase, hexagonal and tetragonal phase of SnO2,Bi2O3, TiO2, ZnO and ZrO2 were confirmed respectively. Monoclinic -Bi2O3 was confirmed in all binary oxides samples, however, pure anatase phase TiO2, tetragonal phase ZrO2 and hexagonal phase ZnO confirmed in TiO2- Bi2O3, ZrO2- Bi2O3 and ZnO- Bi2O3 binary oxidesrespectively and also it was observed that there were changes in crystalline sizes of metallic oxides in binary oxide nanocomposites.
