With over 18 years of experience in academia and industry, Dr. Vinay Kandpal is a finance expert and educator who teaches and mentors students at Graphic Era University, Dehradun, India. He is a Professor in Department of Management Studies, where he imparts his knowledge and insights on various topics in finance, management, and education. He holds a D Litt (Post Doc) and a Ph.D. in Finance from Kumaun University, India, and is also a Post Doctorate Scholar of PG Administracao-Paulista University - UNIP, Brazil. Dr. Kandpal is also a passionate and prolific researcher and author, who has published more than 62 research papers and six books on diverse subjects, such as sustainability, fintech, smart cities, risk management, circular economy, and financial inclusion. He has presented his work at prestigious international conferences and institutions and serves on the Editorial and Reviewer Boards of several well-regarded journals. He is a Full-Time Member of the Association of North America Higher Education International (ANAHEI). Dr. Kandpal's impressive career highlights his commitment to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation in finance. Dr. Anshuman Jaswal is currently the Director and Head of NMIMS Deemed University's Indore campus. He has extensive research and consulting experience and has taught as visiting faculty at leading Indian business schools including IIM Indore and IIM Kozhikode. His research interests include Development of the Indian Economy, Financial Services, Non-profit sector, Impact of Environmental Change on Emerging Markets, and topics related to Economics and Law. He has authored more than 100 research reports covering strategy and technology topics in financial services. Dr. Jaswal is a Fellow in Management (equivalent of a PhD) with a specialization in Economics from India's premier B-school, IIM Ahmedabad. Earlier, he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Honours) by the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, an MBA in Finance by NMIMS, Mumbai, a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of London, and a Master of Laws degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. In his previous roles, Dr. Jaswal has been quoted regularly in media, including the Economic Times, Business Standard, Mint, Financial Times, Wall Street Journal, Reuters, American Banker, Bloomberg, Forbes, New York Times, and financial services technology trade journals. Prof. Ernesto's research is related to the discipline of climate change and management sciences and focuses specifically on the integration of quantitative methods, artificial intelligence and business models to formulate medium and long-term strategies to mitigate the impacts of climate change and contribute to the sustainable development of the planet. His passion is addressing and solving problems at the interface of climate change and sustainability that arise in many different fields, such as supply chain, energy efficiency, low-carbon economy, carbon capture and storage, smart city, smart manufacturing, sustainable and resilient supply chain, sustainable operations management, and sustainable finance. He is included in the 2% of the most influential scientists in the world according to the Stanford University ranking (2023). He has written more than 100 publications in high-impact scientific journals and managed numerous international research projects. He serves as associate editor of the Journal of Cleaner Production (Elsevier), Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing (Springer), Modern Supply Chain Research and Applications (Emerald, new journal), International Journal of Big Data Mining for Global Warming, Heliyon Business and Economics (Elsevier) and Sustainability among others. He is also editor-in-chief and founder of Sustainable Operations and Computers, a new journal sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Elsevier and currently indexed in Scopus. He has been guest editor of several special issues in top-tier journals, such as European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Cleaner Production, International Journal of Production Research, Sustainability, and guest editor of special issues in journals such as International Journal of Production Economics, Computers and Industrial Engineering, and Science of Total Environment. In addition, he served as regional editor of the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management (Emerald). Dr. Naveen Agrawal serves as an Assistant Professor specializing in Energy and Finance at UPES, Dehradun. His research and academic focus encompass a diverse range of crucial areas within the energy sector. With expertise in Electricity Market dynamics, Power Sector Economics, Power Pricing mechanisms, Renewable Energy technologies, and the Financing of Energy Sector Projects, Dr. Agrawal brings a wealth of knowledge to his role. He holds an MBA in Power Management from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Rajasthan University, India. He has presented and published research papers on topics ranging from renewable energy and electricity market dynamics to energy finance, sustainability, and energy policy.
