Despite this acknowledgment, global crises, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and more recently the Russia-Ukraine war, have highlighted that many multinational companies are inadequately prepared for such extreme situations, revealing a significant research gap in the field of organizational resilience. Utilizing a comprehensive analysis of economic literature and qualitative interviews with senior management, this book attempts to close this research gap by developing cross-industry recommendations for developing and maintaining organizational resilience in the long term.
