He finished high school, went for further studies in India and graduated with B.Com degree (University of Madras); in India he would drink occasionally but on returning home, frustrations turned him to more drinking. Addiction then built steadily and before realization he became a morning, afternoon and evening drinker. By now Alcohol was not a party drug anymore neither was it for fun but out of necessity for the body to function.
