Just a note to say that while this book is very important, it may bring up big feelings or worries of your own. Please read the Sunset Hugs disclaimer and message from me at the beginning of the book. Notably, for anyone introducing this book to younger children, please exercise care. The first 2 chapters describe my younger years, when I had a rough beginning in a puppy mill and big worries. The remaining 10 chapters (yes 10!) focus on hope and my healthy healing journey. My wish is that you find comfort in this book and are reminded to never lose hope. Healing is paw-sible, I'm living proof.
