Introduction: Waste production associated with single-use diapers is probably related to the number of users of this product, and 6.7 million tonnes of waste induced by single-use diapers have been produced in Europe. General objective: to determine the environmental and health problems caused by the poor management of Pampers waste in the Kadutu S.Z. Material and method: The study was a cross-sectional analytical study carried out on 389 respondents using a survey questionnaire. Sampling was carried out in clusters, targeting mothers or guardians because of their central role in household management of Pampers waste. We also backed up the data collected in the households with those found in the neighborhood chiefs to compare results. Information was collected at home using a questionnaire on Kobotoolbox.Result: - 86.3% of respondents had heard of Pampers waste.
