These problems could be seen in different regions of the nation.Among many dams constructed to store water for irrigation and/or drinking purposes, Angereb reservoir constructed for drinking water of Gondar city has been losing its storage capacity due to sedimentation much in excess of its design capacity. This study was thus undertaken to analyze sediment yield from the Angereb Reservoir Watershed and to estimate the life of the reservoir so as to take appropriate measures that could reduce the rate of siltation. Moreover, the analysis will be helpful for professionals to applying the deployed models for similar watersheds.
