In this sense, the spread of recent financial instability is accelerated in an environment of financial liberalization and globalization characterized by financial and institutional fragility or poor banking governance. In addition, the second chapter proposes to analyze that the inefficiency of banking governance mechanisms, either through prudential regulation as an external dimension or through the mode of administration as an internal dimension, is a source of crises. Moreover, the risks in terms of financial instability, institutional fragilities and the weakness of the regulatory and supervisory system lead to a lack of governance withinbanks.
