ERP system contains software that manages manufacturing of goods, orders entry, warehousing, general ledger transactions and management of accounts receivable or payable. Several traditional ERP implementation strategies exist in the market.Such strategies include big bang, phased rollout, parallel adoption, process line and hybrid. The success of ERP implementation depends on the selection of appropriate ERP strategy. So, in this study phased rollout strategy is selected as the best strategy for the successful implementation of ERP. This is concluded on the basis of survey through different manufacturing industries. The survey consist of different types of questionnaires and its responses were encoded using a mix of check box, open ended answers and a binary scale with 'yes' or 'no' responses. So, the responses from different companies reveals that implementation of phases rollout strategy improved the business process, also this strategy has ability to combine with another strategy to form a hybrid strategy and also its implementation time is less.
