Sapota (Manilkara achras (Mill.) is one of the important tropical fruit crop belonging to family sapotaceae. In India, knowledge and adoption of bio-fertilizers in horticulture and other crops is not satisfactory. The farmers who adopt bio-fertilizer felt that the cost of inputs has been relatively low and gives improved quality and quantity of produce, (Veermani,2007).According to Padmashree R. S. Paroda (ICAR) "Today we need an (IIFS) which provides a pathway to achieving an evergreen revolution in Agriculture". The choice of using organic vs. conventional farming system depends upon a number of factors including the availability of land,3population density and associated demand for food, fibre, feed and capability of consumers to pay higher price for farm produce and it is more sustainable and does less damage to the environment and for minimum utilization of natural resources. By keeping in view importance of bio-fertilizers in sustainable fruit production a field experiment was conducted on sapota cultivar Kalipatti.
