A sassy YA fiction romcom for fans of Emily Henry and Jenny Han - a TikTok era Pride and Prejudice retelling set in a dreamy beach town full of Hollywood movie star glam, enemies-to-lovers sparks and summer romance. Chosen by Reese Witherspoon as her Book Club YA Pick for summer 2025. One girl. One Hollywood star. A love story that could change everything... Lily has the whole summer before her - endless days of sunshine and friends in beautiful Pippi Beach. Then Dorian Khan arrives with his party of Hollywood movie stars. Unlike most of the star-struck locals, Lily can only see the celebrities' superficial side. And none is more arrogant than Dorian, the most famous of them all. But as Lily's and Dorian's paths continue to cross, she begins to wonder ... has she got him all wrong? This modern reimagining of Pride and Prejudice is full of swoon-worthy romance, sharp and witty humour and Hollywood glamour. Written by acclaimed actor and star of Mean Girls, Angourie Rice, and her playwright mother, this is a funny and relatable YA novel, and the perfect summer escape.
