To achieve this, Cameroon had to undertake a complete overhaul of its budgetary and financial procedure charters; a set of reforms affecting the way Cameroon's public administration was organized and operated. Cleaner management and modernization of public administrations, the quest for efficiency through the achievement of objectively pre-determined Results, and the attainment of economic development are at the heart of the reforms by which Cameroon now advocates performance through strategic planning.
