In addition to the literature on the subject, a case study was carried out in a large agro-industrial company. This company has a large volume of stock and a mix of products. Its products are stored on pallets and drive-in storage structures are used in the warehouse. Firstly, the current location system used by the company was characterized. The second step was to identify the company's warehousing strategies. Finally, an analysis was carried out to see which of the location systems is the most suitable for the company, in order to achieve its goals and/or improve the current results of the warehousing process.
