Heartbreakingly toxic in so many ways. Diad is left alone, struggling to recover from the mental trauma left behind. At least he is until Ech is forced to return. He is amazed at her forgiving nature when she takes his hand and guides him out of that darkness. And in doing so, the couple inadvertently fly right into an incoming war zone. The Rocky Mountain Base is in for a bad time as beloved characters do everything they can in order to survive the Sky War that has descended upon them.
