The "I can't do this" mindset is your old nature clinging to control. 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us the old has passed away, behold, the new has come. And that means unhealthy and unhelpful thoughts, attitudes, and habits. "But," you say, "I've tried and I can't." You're right about that, but here's the good news: God can. He will give you a new heart with new affections. All things - even physical transformation - are possible through Christ.
