His research is focussed on consumer behaviour, sponsorship, branding, media consumption and innovation in sport. He is also the Immediate Past President of the Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand. Katie Rowe is Associate Professor in Sport Management in the Deakin Business School at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. Her research interests include sport participation and development, women in sport and community development through sport. She has previously served as a board director for both Basketball Victoria and the Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand. Hunter Fujak is Lecturer in Sport Management in the Deakin Business School at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. His research expertise is in sport broadcasting and sport consumer behaviour, specifically in understanding consumption patterns within Australia's crowded sport marketplace. He is a regular media contributor to topics related to the business of Australian football.
