Sparse Coded Image Using Pattern Adaptive Multiple Dictionary Learning

This book highlights one of application of sparsity in image compression. The various standard image compression like JPEG, JPEG 2000 are transformed based methods. An important dvantage of approach is that the resulting dictionary have faster implicit implementation. But this type of transformed based dictionary is not adaptive to data and input image type. So new approach dictionary learning algorithm is used for training dictionary.

Autor

Jigisha N. Patel completed her PhD degree from SVNIT, Surat, India. Her research areas are image/video compression and wireless communication. She has published more than 35 research papers in national as well as international journals and conference proceedings. She is an assistant professor in Electronics Engineering Department of SVNIT Surat.
