This book provides a survey of my work between the 1990s to 2007, created in both Melbourne and Perth. It is the second of a series of books that documents the progression of my art practice. These images of paintings show that I have continued to work towards a non-representational practice. They show an interest in geometric shapes and a continuance of: textural colour fields, minimalist expression and composition, and group installations. These are indicative of my increasing interest in the materiality of space, both inside and outside of the works. My overarching experience is that space is never empty, both within each artwork and in the surrounding environment. I aim to manifest works that are supportive of nuance and mindful attentiveness, and that create a moment of counterpoint to the ubiquitous, anxious, complexity of information overload.
