Back from the Navy after WW2, Mike Gilroy and his partners, Della and Todd Abbin, are planning on expanding their airline in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Mike's girlfriend, Beth Ross, joins them when she is discharged from the Royal Navy in Kingston, Jamaica. As a beginning they buy a war surplus C-47 and charter it to a Venezuelan oil company.
