Steven G. Rose writes about everyday life, the inane and mundane, offering his insights and opinions on myriad subjects including euro-steppin', pancakes, tooth enamel, universal health care, heart tingles, quality sleep, good clean fun and the occasional political rant. Long walks remain his tonic, with long midwestern winters his kryptonite. Before finishing business school, Rose was a resident athlete at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He retired from a long career in the financial institutions industry. Rose and his wife of 40 years continue to make their home in Michigan.
