He can turn the charm all the way up, but he'll never thaw the icy walls I put up after the last time he canceled our date. See, Maverick doesn't do commitment. He's made it very clear that relationships are not his thing. That is until I take the possibility of one off the table, and suddenly, it's game on for him. But nothing could have prepared me for what would happen when we got stranded together during one of the worst storms to hit Whiskey Mountain. Trying to avoid Maverick would be easy if we weren't forced to share the same space- and a bed- in an effort to survive the storm. Suddenly, things are heating up in ways they shouldn't, and my resolve is quickly fading.
