Sandra Larsen's expertise is in somatic stress therapies. A lifelong student and practitioner of the healing arts, she brings decades of experience and certifications focused on restoring wholeness. She has studied the works of renowned experts such as Peter Levine, Stephen Porges, Dr. Gabor Mate, and David Berceli.¿¿With a focus on poly-vagal informed, somatic and mindful practices, Sandra's clients benefit through learning to address the physiological roots of trauma and stress. Without a need to talk about 'the story' her clients learn to self-regulate by practicing Innercises, her unique approach to mental health self-care.Sandra's diverse background includes collaborating with prominent pain management doctors working as a wellness instructor and physical therapy aide in an integrative pain rehabilitation clinic. She has worked with chronic pain sufferers, veterans of war, victims of violence and teens in crisis. She also teaches students in the certification program at Deanne Adamson's BeingTrueToYou.comSandra's expertise includes 15 years as a BASI-certified Pilates instructor, a certified TRE® Trainer (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises) and a HeartMath® Clinician. She is also certified as a Nutrition Consultant and Master Herbalist, all which have helped her in healing her own trauma.
