Rural areas generally face electricity supply shortages and the rural economy is generally agriculture based. A solar operated VCRS system can prove to be very handy for people residing in these rural areas as it could help them preserve fresh cow milk for around 4-6 hours without any expenditure on refrigeration till it is collected by big milk selling companies. With these thoughts as motivation this research was undertaken and is being presented here.
