Plantation crops are perennials, cultivated in tropical and sub-tropical agroecosystems in a contiguous area, and comprise estate crops which include tea, coffee, and rubber and small holders' plantation crops such as coconut, areca nut, oil palm, cashew, cocoa, and spices.
