In recent times, there have been transformations in the relationships between the State, civil society, business and the environment, contributing to the incorporation of Social Responsibility in the field of the University, which is faced with the challenge of providing a broader education, focused not only on technical scientific knowledge, but also on the principles of ethics and citizenship. This research aims to identify impacts on the education of students who participate in Social Responsibility actions developed in Extension Programmes and Projects. It presents as a result four relational models built from the theoretical framework. In the field research, evaluations were carried out based on the actions associated with the indicators of Social Responsibility, structured from the guidelines set by the National System for Evaluation of Higher Education. The analyses show that the involvement with Social Responsibility actions promotes a closer approach of university students to socio-environmental issues, contributing to transform them into professionals/citizens.
