Sonia Mehta is always telling stories and is happiest when she's spending time with kids-whether it's enacting her stories to kids in schools, or under a tree in the local park. Storytelling, she firmly believes, is the best way to get children started on the lifelong adventure called reading. It's what led her to co-found PodSquad, a brand creating children's books and learning tools-and Quadrum, a children's content company. During an action-packed creative career, she has conceptualized the Bournvita Quiz Contest for TV; started one of India's first children's newspapers; and authored multiple series of books for publishers across the world. When she isn't pounding away at her computer over endless cups of chai, she can be found making up stories for her two little grandchildren-and playing with her two dogs, the four loves of her life.
