Autor

Maggie Moor is a New York City-based author, jazz¿blues singer¿songwriter, NPC athlete, and licensed psychoanalyst. Her voice¿centered psychological¿suspense fiction explores identity, resilience, and trauma recovery. She is the creator of Charmay: New York Noir and the novel Skinless: The Story of a Female Survivor (Book 1) with a companion album, Skinless: Songs from the Book (Charmay & Maggie Moor), songs written and performed by Charmay in the story. A NYSED¿licensed psychoanalyst with a Gradivänominated clinical thesis, she is also the author of I AM: Mind and Body Union (Archway/Simon & Schuster), a psychoanalytic¿spiritual guide to integrating mind and body for healing. She maintains a practice focused on people in recovery from trauma and addiction; pro bono mental¿health work has included Rikers Island, The Treatment Service clinic, and a portion of her book proceeds supports youth homelessness services.
