The rising prices and high cost of living; it is difficult to satisfy basic needs of the rural population. Government of India as well as state government is showing great concern for rural poor and unemployed. They are not educated and have no skills, so they cannot find employment. To generate skills among rural youths the government to provide self-employment and wage employment to the rural youths implemented a special scheme called ¿TRYSEM¿. The evaluation of the skill generation program is undertaken to assess its impact on the employment generation and the poverty reduction.
