Taylor's book The Principles of Scientific Management. The basic approach of this study, which is among the situational perspectives - which is part of the Contingency approach - is the Situational Leadership Theory, proposed by Hersey and Blanchard, which is the result of this evolution of studies on the subject of leadership. For these authors, the success model is achieved by choosing the right leadership style related to the level of maturity (or readiness) of the team members in a given situation, i.e. a theory with a central focus on those being led.
