His teaching and research focuses on rhetoric as a form of social influence--to include varied forms of social movements and consciousness raising groups. This book addresses Greek lettered social organizations (college fraternities) as a form of consciousness raising group and specifically details variables that composed a representative 1970s era college fraternity with implication that it mirrored similar types of college fraternities that existed across the country at that time.
